Why no local PoP doesn't mean bad latency
The dangerous part of an international connection isn't distance — it's the open internet. Peak-hour congestion on public transit routes out of Vietnam is what turns a decent ping into rubber-banding. Arvoris sidesteps it: a player in Da Nang on Viettel, VNPT or FPT hands off to Cloudflare at the nearest of 330+ anycast cities, and from there the traffic rides a managed private backbone to SIN. Same destination, dramatically more predictable path — and every packet is inspected before your backend sees it.

Common questions
What ping do Vietnamese players get through Arvoris?+
Typically 35–60 ms. Cloudflare has anycast presence in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, so the first hop stays inside Vietnam for players on Viettel, VNPT and FPT. The short leg to the Singapore PoP rides Cloudflare's private backbone, which keeps the connection stable during peak evening hours.
Is 35–60 ms good enough for PvP servers?+
Yes. That range is comfortable for competitive play — most players won't distinguish it from a regional unprotected connection, and the jitter is typically lower because the international leg avoids public transit congestion.
Does Arvoris work with Vietnamese hosting providers?+
Yes. Any backend with an IP and port works — a server in Vietnam, Singapore or anywhere else. You keep your host; Arvoris sits in front via a single CNAME or SRV record. Setup takes about five minutes and needs no plugin.
How much does protection cost for a small Vietnamese server?+
