Terms of Service

Arvoris is a DDoS mitigation service operated by Papyrus VIP SP ("Papyrus", "we", "us"), a United States-based company. By creating an account, purchasing a plan or routing traffic through the Arvoris network, you agree to these Terms of Service and our fair-use rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Arvoris provides DDoS mitigation and network protection for Minecraft servers: Layer 4/7 filtering through our mitigation engine (Cryo), player verification (CryoLimbo), VPN/proxy detection (AntiVPN) and the management panel. Traffic is carried over Cloudflare Spectrum and our own network (AS216013). Features, capacity and limits are defined by the plan you purchase, as described on the pricing page and in the panel.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and team. We may require email verification before service is provided. Accounts may not be sold or transferred without our written consent.

You may not use Arvoris to:

• engage in unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive activity;
• launch, coordinate or benchmark DDoS attacks or any other attacks against third parties;
• perform penetration testing against our infrastructure without prior written authorization;
• host or route content that is illegal, or that infringes third-party rights;
• violate the Minecraft EULA or Mojang/Microsoft usage guidelines;
• circumvent plan limits, resell capacity without an Enterprise agreement, or interfere with other customers' traffic.

We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

Paid plans bill monthly in advance through our payment processor and renew automatically until cancelled. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from the panel; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend the service after a grace period and delete the configuration if the account remains unpaid. Prices may change with reasonable advance notice; changes never apply retroactively to an already-paid period.

Plans marked "fair use" include bandwidth sized for a normal Minecraft workload of the plan's player cap. Sustained consumption far outside that profile (for example using the proxy for bulk data transfer, or traffic unrelated to Minecraft) may lead to throttling, a request to upgrade, or suspension. Attack traffic that we absorb never counts against you.

First purchases of a paid plan are refundable in full within 36 hours of activation. Renewals, and bespoke Enterprise plans, are non-refundable. Consumers in the European Union retain their statutory 14-day withdrawal right where applicable, prorated for service already consumed. AntiVPN query top-ups are non-refundable once consumed.

We target 99% monthly uptime for the Arvoris edge. Scheduled maintenance, customer misconfiguration, upstream provider incidents and events outside our reasonable control are excluded. Where we miss the target in a given month, we may issue service credits on request; credits are the sole remedy for availability incidents.

We may suspend or terminate service immediately for violations of these terms, unlawful conduct, non-payment, or activity that endangers the network or other customers. You may terminate at any time from the panel. Upon termination, network configurations and analytics data are permanently deleted after a reasonable retention window.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". No mitigation service can guarantee that every attack is absorbed without impact. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Papyrus's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost players or lost data.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the panel or via Discord with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the service will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis; class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law.
