Why Filipino servers get attacked — and underserved
A huge player base means a huge target base. Filipino SMPs, cracked-friendly community servers and event networks get hit by booter services and join-flood bots just like Western networks do — but most affordable protection is priced and located for Europe and North America. Arvoris' Asian footprint changes that math: two of our seven dedicated PoPs (Singapore and Tokyo) sit in the region, and geo-steering sends Filipino players to Singapore automatically.
How the connection actually flows
- Local entry — a player in Quezon City on PLDT, Globe or Converge connects to Cloudflare's anycast edge in Manila (or Cebu for Visayas players). First-hop latency stays in-country.
- Private backbone — the connection rides Cloudflare's network to Singapore, avoiding the public-transit congestion that makes evening ping spike.
- Cryo at SIN — our hostname-aware Layer-7 engine inspects every connection; attacks are filtered here, 45–70 ms from your players and zero milliseconds from your backend's point of view.
- Clean traffic only — your server receives verified players with their real IPs intact.

Built for how Filipino servers actually run
Many Filipino communities run on tight budgets with big peak-hour crowds. The free plan genuinely covers a starting server — full pipeline, not a demo — and $10/mo Budget handles a 60-player community with tunable antibot. Cracked and semi-cracked communities also lean hard on AntiVPN to flag ban-evaders switching through proxies, and Essential adds stolen-account detection that kicks credential-leaked accounts before they cause trouble.
Getting protected
Create a free account, add your backend (for example `198.51.100.7:25565`), verify your domain and point one CNAME or SRV record at your edge endpoint. No plugin, no migration, roughly five minutes — and if you're on a Pterodactyl-based host, the Pterodactyl guide walks through finding your node address. See all seven PoPs on the locations page.
Common questions
What latency do Filipino players get on Arvoris?+
Typically 45–70 ms to the Singapore PoP. The first hop is local — Cloudflare has anycast presence in Manila and Cebu — so players on PLDT, Globe or Converge hand off within the country, and the short hop to Singapore travels Cloudflare's backbone instead of congested public transit.
Is Arvoris free for small Filipino servers?+
Yes. The Free plan is $0 forever: up to 15 players, one backend, the full mitigation pipeline including Cryo's Layer-7 filtering, real player IPs via PROXY protocol, 1,000 AntiVPN queries and 24-hour analytics. No card required.
Do I need to move my server to Singapore?+
No. Keep your server wherever it's hosted — a Philippine VPS, a Singapore host, anything with an IP and port. You add one DNS record pointing your play domain at Arvoris, and set your backend address in the panel. Setup takes about five minutes with no plugin.
Will bans and IP-based plugins still work?+
Yes. Every plan, including Free, delivers real client IPs to your backend via PROXY protocol, so bans, whitelists and geo-plugins see the player's true address — not a proxy IP.
Can Arvoris handle bot attacks, not just floods?+
That's the core of the product. Cryo parses Minecraft protocol at the Singapore PoP, and CryoLimbo runs suspicious joins through a verification gauntlet — limbo world, captcha, behavioral checks — before they ever reach your server. AntiVPN classifies VPN, proxy and datacenter IPs in real time on top.
What if my server outgrows 15 players?+
Budget is $10/mo for 60 players with tunable antibot and captcha verification; Essential is $25/mo for 150 players with the full gauntlet, bans and stolen-account detection; Value is $40/mo for 500 players with geo-steering load balancing across up to 10 backends.
